10 hours cramped into a fire engine.
450 miles.
14 minutes and 40 seconds that made me cry.

Thank you for sharing Justin. I can’t imagine how hard this has been for you, your friends, and brothers in SFFD. I was able to hang in there until the bag pipes came in. Then the overwhelming emotions kicked in and I cried, not just for the sorrow of loss, but the pride and sense of community, brotherhood and respect. And not just from your fellow first responders, but from the community, and the people of your great city. Thank you so much for sharing.
Wow.
I am both awed by and a little jealous of the sense of brotherhood in the fire service.
And that so many average citizens “get it” and came out to show their respect and appreciation is equally powerful.
Thank you.
For sharing this video.
For sharing your grief.
And for every day you pin on that badge, grab your turnouts, and offer your service.
