Chronicles of EMS and their discussion program A Seat at the Table have added a special episode to their schedule for Wednesday, September 15th, 2010.

In addition to speaking with disaster responders, as planned, a special edition of the show will include discussions with emergency workers who responded to the explosion in San Bruno, California.

The show will include the live audio from the studio as well as an interactive chat room where the listener can ask questions of the panel in real time.

This episode of Seat at the Table will be focusing on the importance of building relationships with your fellow responders, be they police, fire, EMS, water, sewer, power or road crew.  If the Chiefs have something in writing, we should have something in person.  This is the focus of the Tak Response conference going on right now in San Jose, CA.

LIVE in studio will be:

Justin Schorr – Host

Joe Telles – Battalion Chief, San Bruno Fire Dept

Bobby Halton – Editor, Fire Engineering Magazine

And a special guest you’ll have to listen in to learn!

Not a discussion of response as much as preparation, this will indeed be an important program for responders new in the field, recently promoted officers or anyone who handles inter-agency co-operation.

The chatroom will go live at 4pm pacific time HERE.  We hope to see you there.
