Hey all,
I have received over 250 spam comments in the last 24 hours. I have indeed made the big time. So until they figure out I’m not letting them through, I have to ask you to register to post a comment. If you haven’t yet, it’s easy and will let you also comment on other network sites.
I apologize for the inconvenience, I hate doing it on other sites, but it is just insane right now.

Do you have akismet all set up on your site? That should take care of most…oh and for mine, I set up Anyone posts a comment and A comment is held for moderation and Comment author must have a previously approved comment. That way if I have ok’d someone in the past they can comment again w/o moderation, otherwise I have to moderate….just sayin!

I already registered to post somewhere else. I hate anonymity because it allows people to feel that they can say ANYTHING regardless of how crass, rude or uneducated it makes them appear.

10 spam comments an hour! Wow. I’m now feeling rather pathetic about my blog….on the other hand, I don’t have to deal with spam.
